New bath tap installed

We recently installed in the bath tap that was connected to a mixer valve, the mixer valve was already installed. The new bath tap was a designer waterfall tap. The Loughton client wanted the tap replaced due to cosmetic reasons. As we needed access to the pipework behind the tap we made sure that the new waterfall tap had a fairly large backing plate so we can enlarge the access in order to install. Essentially the large backing plate of tap covered up any damage to the tiles.

We also removed the old silicone that was up around the edge of the bath by scraping out and using silicone softening chemicals. We then recently siliconed the bath which was done by filling the bath full of water prior to applying the silicon. This makes sure that when the buses filled next time it doesn’t sink and pull off the silicon has recently been applied.
